TRAINING DETAILS:

Onboarding is more than just a new hire orientation. It provides an opportunity to connect your new staff members to your organization’s purpose, procedures, and culture. In this 90-minute training session, you will explore and plan how to enhance your organization’s onboarding experience by including CalTrin’s free learning resources into the first 30-90 days of a new staff member’s journey, as well as ideas for how to create a continuous learning environment with your existing team.

Participants will:

  • Identify free CalTrin resources that can enhance onboarding for new staff
  • Review how to integrate CalTrin offerings into ongoing staff professional development
  • Develop a practical action plan for how to add CalTrin into their organization’s staff training strategy

Who should attend:
Staff in leadership positions and staff who are able to influence others in leadership roles in family resource centers, Child Abuse Prevention Councils, community-based organizations, and other child- and family-serving systems.
