CalTrin believes in the importance of evaluation to refine and improve our trainings and ensure that our trainees receive the maximum benefit. Each training we deliver is evaluated for both satisfaction and knowledge change. Evaluation data is collected during registration and after the training is completed.

CALTRIN NEEDS ASSESSMENT SUMMARY
In December 2022, we conducted our second Needs Assessment survey. We received responses from more than 200 child- and family-serving professionals across California. The Needs Assessment Summary shares the results of the 2022 survey, including key highlights about the training we have delivered so far and how we plan to use what we’ve learned.
THE EMERGING LEADERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The CalTrin Emerging Leaders Development Program is a FREE learning series designed for individuals who have been in leadership roles for less than 3 years (supervisors/managers with direct reports). Through a mix of interactive workshops, small group exercises, and self-reflection, learners gain practice, insight, and strategy for leading an effective and engaged workforce and organization, all at no cost! Over the course of eight months, learners are challenged and supported as they learn and apply everyday practical strategies, culminating in a leadership stretch project.
Since its launch in September 2022, the Emerging Leaders Development Program has facilitated 4 cohorts and produced 97 graduates. CalTrin has compiled a report that covers stats and other information from those cohorts.
