Trauma-Informed Leadership in Turbulent Times: Creating the Conditions for People & Teams to Thrive

October 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Free

Over the past decade, trauma-informed care has transformed how organizations support the children, families, and communities they serve. Increasingly, however, leaders are recognizing that the same principles that foster healing for clients also shape the health, resilience, and effectiveness of the workforce itself. In today’s environment of chronic uncertainty, workforce shortages, moral distress, rapid change, and increasing complexity, leadership requires more than technical expertise. It requires understanding how people adapt under stress and intentionally creating the conditions where individuals and teams can thrive.

This interactive webinar introduces a trauma-informed leadership framework grounded in organizational science, implementation research, neuroscience, and the lived realities of today’s workforce. Participants will explore how stress and adaptation influence leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational culture, while learning practical strategies for creating environments characterized by belonging, psychological safety, trust, and agency—the core conditions that enable individuals and teams to do their best work, even during turbulent times.
