This 3-hour session is designed for supervisors and managers who have employees reporting to them and need to have regular check-ins about performance and growth.
This training is for you if you have ever thought:
- “What exactly am I supposed to say in these conversations?”
- “How do I give feedback without it getting awkward?”
- “How do I actually help someone grow—not just review their performance?”
You’ll learn simple, practical ways to prepare for and lead these conversations so they feel more natural, clear, and useful for both you and your employee. We’ll break down different types of employees you might be leading and give you easy-to-use conversation frameworks so you’re not going in unprepared.
By the end, you’ll feel more confident having real, productive conversations that support your team’s performance and development.
Learners will:
- Identify different talent types and how they impact development conversations.
- Use structured models to prepare for and lead effective talent discussions.
- Strengthen confidence and skill in conducting performance and development conversations.
Who should attend: Supervisors, managers, and leaders who have direct reports and conduct performance conversations.
