TRAINING DETAILS:

This session explores the essential role of psychological safety in creating healthy workplace relationships and inclusive environments. Participants will learn how psychological safety impacts team dynamics and gain practical tools to improve communication, navigate challenges, and foster collaboration. The session empowers participants to build a culture where everyone feels valued and able to contribute.

 

Learners will:

  • Understand what psychological safety is and why it matters
  • Learn strategies for navigating difficult conversations and giving constructive feedback
  • Learn techniques for fostering inclusive team dynamics and communication
  • Learn how to create and maintain safe spaces at work
  • Identify steps to address and respond to microaggressions constructively

Who should attend: All staff of family resource center (FRCs), child abuse prevention councils (CAPCs), community-based organizations, and other child- and family-serving systems.

 

IMPORTANT TRAINING INFORMATION:

  • This is a webinar-style training. This means that you will not be on camera and will not be able to see other learners. This training will not include breakout rooms. Opportunities to interact with the presenter(s) and other participants will be included.
  • This training will be recorded. The recording will be available to registered learners within 2 days of the training.
  • California privacy laws mandate consent for recording conversations using AI applications. MEET THE SPEAKER

Ash Ramirez (they/elle/Papi) is a Trans Queer Latine DEI strategist and creative producer with over nine years of experience across creative and entertainment industries. A native Tejane from Texas with mestizo and Two-Spirit heritage, they design and scale intentional, human-centered initiatives that drive lasting change. Through their speaking, consulting, and facilitation, Ash shares their journey to empower others to embrace authenticity and cultivate inclusive, compassionate spaces for all. Beyond the workplace, they are known as Papi Culo, a Latin Non-Binary Drag King and founder of Papi Creative Productions—a production haus bringing inclusive experiences to life through art, storytelling, and community engagement in San Antonio, Texas.
