These programs provide “free money” or seed deposits to jumpstart post-secondary education and long-term financial security for children who meet program criteria. We will cover the technical aspects and the significant social-emotional benefits of these accounts. Learners will:
- Gain awareness of the CalKIDS Program
- Gain knowledge of how to check and claim accounts
- Understand the importance of these accounts to children’s futures
- Consider ways to integrate CalKIDS promotion into their current activities to support children and families
