The ABCs of Revitalizing Well-Being in Trauma-Exposed Organizations

September 29 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am PDT
Free

Every day, those working in trauma-exposed environments encounter stories and situations that leave lasting imprints. Alongside these experiences, they also face organizational pressures and ethical challenges that can contribute to exhaustion and distress. Over time, this exposure may lead to secondary traumatic stress (STS), burnout, and moral distress—three overlapping yet distinct occupational hazards that, if left unaddressed, can erode individual well-being, professional purpose, and organizational health.

The session balances individual coping practices with systemic and collective responses, underscoring why both are essential for sustainable well-being in trauma-exposed work. Through interactive reflection and peer exchange, attendees will connect with others facing similar challenges and leave with insights they can apply immediately in their work.

By the end, participants will walk away with concrete tools and a renewed perspective on how to rise to the challenges and revitalize their energy while contributing to healthier, more resilient workplaces.
