System of Care Local Integration Convenings
These convenings help in establishing a shared framework for advancing system of care (SOC) and deepening the practical understanding regarding cross-system obligations, limitations and interdependencies, and how to overcome barriers to prioritize the needs of the youth and family.
The focus of the July 28 convening is the Integrated Core Practice Model (ICPM) and will include presentations from the Child and Family Policy Institute of California (CFPIC) and local SOC representatives.
The ICPM is California’s Child and Youth System of Care core practice model guide, which supports each local SOC partnership and serves as a framework for effective, trauma-informed service delivery. Participants will hear county examples of the positive impact that ICPM has had on their collaboration together and with the families they serve, as well as learn practical strategies for increasing the use of ICPM across the SOC.
The ICPM is the practice model that aligns language, values, principles and behaviors across the systems, and can reinforce and align discipline specific practices and system integration.
