Intergenerational Trauma: Family-Centered Interventions for Depression, Bipolar, and Trauma-Related Mental Health Challenges
September 24 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 am PDT
Presented by Dana E. Crawford, PhD, this 3-hour workshop explores how experiences of trauma, stress, and adversity can echo across generations and influence family relationships, adolescent mental health, attachment, emotional regulation, and connection. Participants will consider the behavioral, relational, cultural, and neurobiological ways that families adapt to inherited and ongoing stressors, with attention to families affected by depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, trauma-related challenges, and chronic stress.
