Addressing Borderline Personality Disorder in Adolescents

April 22 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am PDT

Adolescents with borderline personality disorder (BPD) often experience intense emotions, relationship instability, and rapid mood shifts that can feel alarming to the adults around them. Without a clear understanding, these teens are frequently misunderstood, leading to delayed or ineffective support.

This session from McLean Hospital’s Deconstructing Stigma project provides a grounded, compassionate introduction to how BPD presents in adolescents and how families, educators, and clinicians can respond with clarity and confidence.
