CalTrin and Continuing Education Credit
Who is eligible to earn continuing education credit through CalTrin?
CalTrin is a project of the Chadwick Center for Children and Families-Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, a California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)-approved provider of continuing education. As an approved provider, CalTrin training designated for continuing education credit meets a series of requirements set by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to ensure practice competence and professional growth.
Continuing Education Credit will only be offered for specifically designated training and will only be offered for the following licensees at this time:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)
- Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEP)
Training Cost
CalTrin training is free to learners. There are no fees associated with continuing education credit for designated training.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy is noted in the program registration and registration confirmation for all applicable trainings.

Complaints
Complaints/grievances about accreditation, course offerings, promotional or educational materials, or technological resources should be submitted in writing (formally or informally) to the Course Director.
Course Completion Certificates
Continuing Education Course Completion certificates will be awarded within 4 weeks of the training. To receive a Continuing Education Course Completion certificate, you must 1) hold an eligible professional license, 2) attend the full duration of the training, 3) complete a training evaluation, including all questions specifically required to receive continuing education credit.
