Social connection refers to having a sense of connectedness with constructive, supportive people and institutions. Join us as we learn strategies to help families recognize and increase their ability to create and maintain healthy social connections, and to model those skills for their children.

Learners will:

  • Define the characteristics and skills related to building healthy social connections  
  • Identify everyday actions that support the development of healthy social connections
  • Participate in activities that demonstrate the ability to recognize and build healthy social connections in yourself and others
  • Make a plan to incorporate Strengthening Families into your life and work.
