Presented by National Children’s Advocacy Center.

Many children and families are experiencing isolation and stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic. To keep children safe from sexual abuse during this time, it’s important for adults to talk with each other, and with their children, about personal boundaries and consent. Jenny Coleman with Stop It Now! will share strategies for helping adults overcome the barriers to these difficult conversations.

Participants will:

1. Understand the importance of boundaries and consent, particularly as related to isolation due to COVID-19.

2. Learn strategies to encourage parents and caregivers to talk with their children and other adults about boundaries and consent in various situations.

3. Learn about the resources of Stop It Now! and how to incorporate these into their work with children and families.
