The Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework from the Center for the Study of Social Policy distills extensive research in child and family development into a core set of five protective factors that everyone can understand and recognize in their own lives. This framework is the basis for a research-informed approach to strengthening families, enhancing child development, and reducing the likelihood of childhood abuse and neglect.
This 8-session webinar series (May 6-June 24, 2021) reviews the five protective factors: parental resilience, social connection, concrete support in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, social and emotional competence with opportunities for Q&A throughout.
Who should attend: All Staff.
