Organizational Strategies: Addressing Compassion Fatigue & Secondary Traumatic Stress

This 2-hour online workshop for child-serving professionals (Leads, Supervisors, Managers and Above) reviews the concepts of compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress, and discusses individual and organizational strategies to address professional well-being.

Audience: Leads, Supervisors, Managers and Above of child abuse prevention agencies – working with families and children exposed to trauma.

Cost: Free (provided through State-funded program, CalTrin)

Training Objectives:
1. Identify individual strategies to address staff wellbeing
2. Identify organizational strategies to support staff wellbeing
3. Identify and use the four components of reflective supervision

To best prepare for this training, it is recommended that you review the materials provided from the previous training: Trauma, Compassion Fatigue and Secondary Traumatic Stress
