No Instructions: Development Across the Early Years – The Imagined versus the Real

April 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PDT

Free

Once your baby is born, what’s next? Let’s talk about the imagined versus the real stories of infancy and toddlerhood. We will engage in a conversation about the developmental process. How do we embrace children’s behavior in the context of culture? How do we navigate early intervention services and individualized education plans, especially around potential familial and cultural perceptions of developmental disabilities? You will learn strategies and concrete steps you can take to advocate for your child in different settings and within your family.

Moderated by Eurnestine Brown, Ph.D., Director of Relational Equity and Belonging at Brazelton Touchpoints Center.
