This webinar will spotlight the Nevada Network of Family Resource Centers, established in 1995 by the Nevada Legislature, and coordinated by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. Currently there are 22 Family Resource Centers that serve families throughout the state. FRCs are often the only service provider in their area, and are responsible for serving rural and Native American communities. Through establishing collaborative relationships with other community organizations and government agencies, the FRCs are able to assist families gain access to much-needed resources to help them thrive including mental health, domestic violence, re-entry, education, employment, and social service programs.
