Ensuring Quality and Fidelity to Achieve Outcomes

September 21 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm PDT

This Learning Forum focuses on integrating new prevention program metrics, both required and desired, into existing jurisdiction data management, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) systems. We will address how to develop mechanisms for certifying data that ACF and CDSS will require from purveyors of EBPs. We will also explore methods for collecting and analyzing local data to confirm adherence to policy, standards, and contracts, and to monitor and adjust the array and availability of services needed in the jurisdiction. The discussion will also emphasize the importance of having processes and forums for the formal review of data to ensure that new information is appropriately acted on. The Forum will also include information on how to structure Statements of Work (SOWs) and contracts for EBP purveyors who will be providing fidelity management.

The Comprehensive Prevention Plan Learning Series is sponsored by Casey Family Programs, in partnership with Implematix, CalTrin, and CDSS. It is intended to assist counties in preparing for implementation of their unique Comprehensive Prevention Plan (CPP). The series maps directly to the nine Readiness domains for California’s Family First Prevention Services (FFPS) Program and addresses requirements outlined in All County Letter (ACL) 22-23 and AB153. These learning forums will provide detail on the domains and associated national and local perspectives on readiness work. Each learning forum will be followed by an interactive question and answer session to allow for more detailed discussion and clarification. Although encouraged, it is not required to attend the full series and each session will require separate registration.
