Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in California

Hosted by the Essentials for Childhood (EfC) Initiative and Kidsdata. This webinar will share new ACEs data collected from 2013-2019 through the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). Beth Jarosz and Nathan Porter of Kidsdata, a program of the Population Reference Bureau (PRB), will report on the statewide prevalence of ACEs, ACEs-related demographic disparities, the impact of ACEs on Californian’s mental health, behavior, and chronic disease, and how to access these new data.
